ABOUT THE TOUR |
|
|
“Nine Hills One Valley is about a small place where I live called Manipur—politically weak, economically poor. Manipur
faces much suffering, raising questions of identity, unemployment, education system, generation gap, violence, traditional values etc. But the play is not
localized in theme. Because all of these problems and issues are a product of the larger environment; violence, war and terrorism everywhere in the world and a
small place suffers more than anything. I believe a regional issue is a national issue and a national issue is an international issue and vise versa. Nobody
can escape from it. The play emphasizes the need to bring peace to this world.” |
